Program Description

The course of study and the requirements for the B.A. degree in Psychology provide an opportunity for students who (a) desire to extend their education in the liberal arts with an emphasis in psychology, (b) wish to prepare themselves for graduate work in psychology or (c) plan to enter one of several professional or occupational fields for which a substantial background in psychology is essential.

Student Learning Outcomes: Knowledge Base in Psychology; Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking; Ethical and Social Responsibility in a Diverse World; Communication; Professional Development.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students will be considered for admission to CSUN if they meet the following requirements: Have earned a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale, or an average of "B" grades on an "A - F" letter grading scale. An international first-time freshman is a student applying to a bachelor's degree program who has not completed any post-secondary course work at a college or university. English language requirements: IELTS Academic - International English Language Test System: 6.0 or higher; iTEP Academic - International Test of English Proficiency - 5.0 or higher; PTE Academic - Pearson’s Test of English - 45 or higher; TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language: Internet Based score: 61, Paper-based score: 500. We do not accept TOEFL ITP.
