专业概况

在这里学什么？ BA (Hons) Graphic Communication will enable you to keep abreast of the ways in which people receive and consume information as new technologies emerge, equipping you with the skills to work in evolving areas and to anticipate and influence creative technologies and direction. Working in large, open plan studios, you will be encouraged to solve real-world problems with great ideas. You are as likely to be designing an app or website, making a film or piece of motion-typography as you are to be designing a printed poster or journal. This course has built its reputation on the quality of its award-winning students who have gone on to work at top creative agencies in the UK and internationally. The TALK lecture programme exposes you to some of the leading practitioners, such as Sean Perkins (North), Laura Jordan Bambach (Mr. President) and Tom Roope (The Rumpus Room). You will conclude your final year with the NUA Degree Show and an opportunity to exhibit at D&AD New Blood. This course includes a Year Zero, which promotes developing practical, technical and creative skills and confidence for the following three years. Building on your prior experience, you will be introduced to some of our workshops to assist your skill development, with an increasing emphasis on professional standards and independent study. The course places emphasis on your personal commitment to study, while supporting you in your progression.
