专业概况

Gain knowledge of the English Legal System alongside sought-after time management and critical analysis skills with this short online law course.

Equivalent to the first level of undergraduate study, you will explore a number of essential law topics, such as:

• criminal law, burden of proof and proposal for reform
• legally enforceable contracts and the factors that render them unenforceable
• the role of constitutional and administrative law and their related issues

Alongside learning about these thought-provoking topics, you will delve deeper into their meaning through discussion forums with fellow classmates based around the world. Whether you intend to study a full law degree and go on to practise law professionally, or if you are interested in one of the many careers that benefit from a legal background, this course will open up your career options.

Your future

Legal knowledge is a highly useful commodity in a range of roles, including management, finance, human resources, education, local and central government and the voluntary sector.

Once you finish your CertHE course you are also able to progress onto the LLB (Hons) Law course, a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD) which allows you to complete the academic stage of legal education. If this is your objective, you must complete all your degree studies in no more than six years and achieve a minimum of a lower second class honours degree.
