专业概况

在这里学什么？ The English and History integrated joint gives students an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of their heritage and cultural identity, along with the chance to explore other cultures and traditions. Using a wide range of literary and non-literary materials, the programme examines the dynamic relationship which links all forms of cultural activity to the passions and prejudices, hopes and fears of real people facing the specific challenges of their times. Students on this course will develop a greater appreciation of social and political forces which shape our world and its communities. They will acquire the ability to identify and employ a range of oral, written and digital resources, enhancing their skills in information gathering and self-expression which are valued so highly by future employers.
