This innovative programme offers a multi-disciplinary, practice-based approach toward offsite housing construction. This course is specifically designed to address national, European and international market needs for delivering houses faster without compromising quality using innovative and modern methods of construction.

A Master’s degree in off-site housing construction would enable you to better manage off-site construction projects through a broader understanding of issues relating to process efficiency and productivity improvement.

Potential Career Paths

This course is being developed in response to the anticipated demand for offsite construction in the next 10 years. In 2017, Mark Farmer presented the CITB report ‘Faster, Smarter, More Efficient: Building Skills for Offsite Construction’, which highlighted that 42% of construction industry employers expect to use offsite methods in five years’ time. This push, combined with the need for a significant number of new homes in the region, and nationally, will require employees in the construction industry to develop a new skill set to meet demand.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed a 4 year Bachelor degree from a NARIC or government recognised institution and can provide both a bachelor degree certificate and graduation certificate are eligible for entrance onto Master’s degrees: A score of 75% is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 65% is considered comparable to a UK 2:2; A score of less than 65% is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-masters course. English language requirements vary by course and department but the standard University requirement is 6.0 with 5.5 in every component in IELTS or the same scores in the University’s own entry test, the Wolverhampton English Proficiency Examination (WEPE).
