在这里学什么? **This programme will give you the knowledge, skills and behaviours for a career in the police service.***From 2020, all new police recruits must be qualified to degree level. This, combined with government commitment to raise the number of police officers, means you'll have excellent employment opportunities after graduation.Delivering the National Policing Curriculum, this degree will work in tandem with Humberside Police's Special Constable recruitment programme - meaning you can gain first-hand experience of policing while studying. By training as a Special Constable alongside your degree, you'll get a taster of life as a police officer, and be ready to start your career after graduating.This hands-on programme is designed to give you the knowledge, skills and behaviours for a career in the police service. You’ll also benefit from our strong partnerships with local, regional and national criminal justice agencies. This means we can offer you stimulating evidence-based policing project opportunities, as well as field trips to courts, police stations and prisons.Our expert staff each have their own relevant research specialisms – from modern-day slavery to knife crime and from domestic violence to crimes against the environment and hate crime.
