专业概况

Founded in 1891, the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law plays a leading role in the legal profession through countless contributions made by current students, graduates, and faculty. Moritz combines expansive resources with a small, tight-knit community, great teaching, innovative classes, individualized career counseling, and a full intellectual and social calendar. The Moritz College of Law is committed to providing a learning environment and scholarly community that is second to none.

At Moritz, you will realize the possibilities of a law school dedicated to helping each of its students reach his or her full potential—a law school small enough to provide one-on-one faculty interaction and career counseling, but supported by the strength and reputation of one of the world’s most preeminent universities. We are constantly expanding and adjusting our curriculum to ensure you have access to the most relevant and innovative courses possible. We offer a full range of traditional law classes designed to provide you with a strong legal foundation, an upper-level curriculum that offers small seminar courses on niche topics, and a broad range of curricular and co-curricular experiential learning opportunities that will ensure you are ready to practice law when you graduate. You’ll learn from a diverse, dedicated group of teachers who are nationally and internationally recognized legal scholars.

The comprehensive scope of the university and its location in the state capital provide law students with access to a wealth of educational, professional, cultural, and recreational resources and opportunities. The Law and Leadership Program, the Mentoring & More @ Moritz Program, the Justice for Children Project, Election Law @ Moritz, and the Law and Capital Markets Program are representative of these opportunities. Law students are able to pursue joint degrees with one of the university’s more than 100 graduate programs. Many students also find employment with one of the more than 500 law firms and practices located in central Ohio.
