专业概况

在这里学什么？

Learn how to provide patient-centered quality care and improve health outcomes for newborns through young adults (including late adolescents and emancipated minors). In ODU's online pediatric CNS degree, you'll explore practice models, standards, and regulations that direct advanced nursing practice. Your coursework will focus on advanced clinical practice knowledge, leadership, and the integration of technology into practice. You'll also learn how to design, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing assessments, interventions, and programs.

You will be required to travel to ODU's School of Nursing in Virginia Beach for scheduled training and/or testing at certain points in the program. We're proud to collaborate with Eastern Virginia Medical School's Standardized Patient Program, one of the largest in the U.S. These highly specialized actors provide safe practicum experiences where you will learn and refine clinical skills. You will also complete a practicum experience.
