专业概况

在这里学什么？ At Westminster we train competent linguists in modern languages ready to enter graduate employment. We place particular emphasis on employability and the contemporary cultural context, and offer high-quality teaching in all language skills. You will achieve a good or high level of linguistic competence in French in all 4 skill areas (reading, writing, listening and speaking), and an in-depth understanding of International Relations, with the opportunity to study specialist modules.You will have the opportunity to study language, culture and international relations in an integrated way, exploring the connections between them and the broader geopolitical and cross-cultural contexts in which they are produced. You will also gain the transferable and cognitive skills necessary for lifelong personal and professional development.International relations is concerned with the challenges of traditional and emerging geopolitics. It focuses on the changing configurations of power, privilege and identity in world politics, and you will explore questions of governance, democracy and human rights in a post-colonial world.

为来自中国的学生设计 For entry into Year 1 of Bachelor's degrees (Level 4), you will typically need to have a recognised International Foundation course from a UK institution or a Chinese institution following a validated UK syllabus. Entry requirements vary but we normally ask for between 60% and 65%. Undergraduate Bachelor's degrees – IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component.
