专业概况
在这里学什么?3D4M (3-Dimensional Forum) is a consortium that includes ceramics, glass, and sculpture. The mission of 3D4M is to explore interdisciplinary exchanges that revolve around material study, concept, and critical dialog in a dynamic studio-based environment that reflects and supports the nature of contemporary art in the context of a leading research university. Four full-time faculty and three instructional technicians work directly with up to eight graduate students. Studios are located at the Ceramics and Metal Arts Facility where there are extensive facilities for ceramics, wood and metal fabrication, foundry, glass, digital imaging center, and two student exhibition galleries.
3D4M offers a Master of Fine Arts degree following a two-year course of study and the successful completion of the requirements for 3D4M, the School of Art + Art History + Design, and the Graduate School.
