The State of Ohio has recognized The University of Findlay's computer science degree as unique and student-focused. Receiving designation as a Program of Innovation, our computer science program gives students a solid background in computer knowledge, combined with any of five areas of emphasis. This emphasis is an excellent foundation for a career or to prepare the student for graduate studies.

Web and Database Emphasis

Our five areas of emphasis distinguish our program from other computer science programs and prepare our students well for continued graduate study or successful employment. An emphasis in web and database prepares students for careers as Web programmers, database administrators, or software engineers. Graduates will be able to create the back-end programming needed for today's business websites and ensure data are efficiently managed and organized to meet today's information needs.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have high school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (iBT) score of at least 61, an IELTS score of at least 6.0, a Pearson Test of English (academic) of at least 50, or an International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) of at least 3.5.
