专业概况

在这里学什么？

This programme aims to impart understanding and skills in key business management and information technology subjects at Master’s level. It covers the design and development of IT systems, the management of IT projects, the digital economy and the development of business applications.

Full-time students take four courses in Semester 1 and a further four in Semester 2. Results from these examinations determine whether students progress to an individual project and dissertation of four months’ duration leading to the MSc degree.

On this programme, the following taught courses are mandatory:

Information Systems Methodologies Research Methods and Project Planning Digital and Knowledge Economy Masters Project and Dissertation

Students can then choose five courses from the following:

Strategic Project Management Database and Information Systems Network Applications Project Management Software Engineering Foundations Statistical Model and Analysis Competitive Strategy Big Data Management

In addition to these taught courses, students pursuing the Masters qualification undertake a research project and dissertation.

IELTS - 6.5; Heriot-Watt English - C; PTE Academic - 58-64; TOEFL IBT - 90; Cambridge (New) - 176-184; Cambridge (Old) - FCE (grade A), CAE (grade C); Trinity ISE II - Pass in all components.
