In rural southeast areas, state health disparities make these nurses vital to the patients they treat.

Overview - MS in Nursing, concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner

• 53 credit hours
• Program progression – 8 semesters - Full-time option only
• 1,050 clinical hour requirement
• Optional thesis
• Students completing the dual Nurse Practitioner concentration will be eligible to sit for the psychiatric-mental health and family nurse practitioner national certification examinations.

• 42 credit hours
• Program progression – Part-time (8 semesters) or full-time (5 semesters) options
• 525 clinical hour requirement
• Optional thesis
• Upon successful completion of coursework and clinical requirements, students are eligible to take the psychiatric-mental health national certification examination.

• 40 credit hours
• Program progression – part-time (8 semesters) or full-time (5 semesters) option
