专业概况
在这里学什么?UW CEE’s Environmental Engineering Master’s Program has produced many outstanding professionals who have achieved great success in practice and academia. The program provides a solid background in both traditional and emerging areas of environmental engineering. These areas include drinking water and wastewater treatment, air and water quality, remediation of contaminated sites and resource recovery. Graduate students work closely with Environmental Engineering faculty who guide and supervise their research and studies. They also interact with leaders in the local professional community, many of whom are UW graduates, through courses taught by practitioners, field trips, seminars and professional society meetings.
Careers
People with advanced degrees in environmental engineering enjoy careers as engineers in consulting companies, managers of drinking water and wastewater treatment plants, educators in institutions of higher learning, researchers in national laboratories, modelers and engineers in governmental agencies concerned with the protection of public health and environmental quality.
Degree requirements
A total of 42 credits is required for all MSCE programs. Master’s students enrolled in on-campus programs may take online courses as electives.

为来自中国的学生设计 Prospective graduate students must meet the following minimum requirements: Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S.1or its equivalent from a foreign institution; Have earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits.
